The Sennheiser CX 180 are some of the latest earphones that you can find on the market. For a lot of people, low-quality earphones are ok if they just listen to music from time to time. However, this model is for the music aficionados. As you will see from the Sennheiser CX 180 review, this is an excellent purchase and one that will impress you again and again. These are some of the most popular earphones in India, and they are under ₹1000 most of the time, which makes them quite accessible for most people.

Right off the bat, you will notice that the overall visuals are super impressive here. You have the Sennheiser CX 180 in the package, but they also brought in 2 extra pairs of silicon rubber so you can have different sizes. That being said, under the silicon rubber you can find an earpiece that that has a stellar metal grill. In addition, they also brought in a wire splitter, which you hardly get from earphones in general. But as you notice from the Sennheiser CX 180 Street II review, this is a stellar product and one that impresses you quite a bit.
They don’t have a mic with this unit, nor do they have an inline remote. Yet most of us use the phone for changing the overall volume and so on, so that’s not a huge deal. A mic would have been a good option, true, but it works quite nicely without it too, so at the end that doesn’t matter as much either. However, you have a gold plated 3.5 mm jack, which matters a lot in situations like these. They also brought in a wire clipper to keep wire management as efficient as possible. It’s nice to see this during the cx 180 review, as you get to see just how much work they put into stuff like this.
The entire pair is made from rubberised plastic. The earpiece has a glossy finish at the front, and the back is created from rubberised plastic. What we liked during the Sennheiser CX 180 street II review is that the size of these earphones is super small, so you can comfortably fit them in your ear.
Another thing to notice is that they are also light. Everyone loves portable earphones, and here you certainly have something like that, which is super impressive in the end.
When we analyse the sound during the Sennheiser CX 180 review, we have to take into account the overall price. The unit has a very good price point; there’s no doubt about that. The bass is dense and deep. The vocals are also clear and crisp most of the time. If you love listening to rock or bass-heavy music, then you are bound to become a fan of this product. But it works great for just about any type of music.
And we also liked the fact that despite the small size, the Sennheiser CX 180 does pack a punch. The sound will differ based on the input, however. For example, if you have a low-quality sound generator unit, the output will not be amazing. But then again, you would expect stuff like that. For the most part, the sound is super good, and the unit is compatible with just about any music source that has a 3.5 mm jack. Maybe the best thing is that these won’t fall from your ears either, so if you want to listen to music even while working out or running, the Sennheiser CX 180 won’t slip. We loved to see this during the Sennheiser CX 180 street II review because not a lot of earphones deliver this type of value and quality.
What you do need to keep in mind is that the treble or highs are aggressive. It’s not problematic, but the person near you will hear the highs in your songs. That happens only if you have a very high volume, so it’s not a hugely problematic thing most of the time. That being said, you won’t hear anything like that while using the Sennheiser CX 180. The user will have a very good experience, the equaliser within your device can make a difference, and the Sennheiser CX 180 does provide a tremendous sound fidelity without requiring you to spend a lot of money.
When it comes to mids, you won’t see that much of a difference or any problem. Most people love the idea of using a good set of earphones because they can go from lows to highs without trepidation, and all of that is outputted correctly. But even the mids are very well outputted, which makes the listening experience a very impressive and rather robust one. It can be more challenging, but at the same time, it does deliver exactly the benefits and sound you want, which is maybe what matters the most in a situation like this one.
